Dr. Baron Has Integral Role in Training New Doctors in Academic Dermatology

Throughout her dermatology career, Dr. Baron has given many lectures to other physicians, surgeons, nurses and students.  She has also presented her Mohs fellowship research work on scar prevention to her peers at the international conference level.  Now, she brings her educational contributions closer to home as she has been selected by the O'Connor Hospital Family Medicine Residency Program, affiliated with Stanford University, to provide one-to-one dermatology education for new physicians.  She teaches on a completely volunteer basis.

Mohs Surgery for Skin Cancer Cure with Optimal Cosmetic Outcome

Dr. Baron completed her dermatology residency as Chief Academic Resident and her American Mohs College fellowship in Mohs micrographic surgery.  She has performed over 6,000 Mohs surgery cases since 2006 and is an expert in the fields of dermatologic oncology and dermatologic and aesthetic surgery. Dr. Baron is an Associate Member of the American College of Mohs Surgery and a Fellow of the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery.  To understand the depth and scope of specialized training of a Mohs surgeon, please review the core curriculum of the American Mohs College.
